Your license is only good for the laptop.
You cannot move Windows 7 to another computer.

You must purchase another copy with license.

I hope this helps

You will need to purchase a genuine copy of Windows 7 from Microsoft or your local computer/electroncis store. You are not entitled to install Windows 7 on other computers in your household without explicitly purchasing a license for that computer.

Also, I am not sure if your "old Windows XP computer" will be able to run Windows 7.
At the very minimum your computer would need 1 GB of RAM, a Ghz range processor and Direct X 10 compatible graphics card. Unless your old PC was built fairly recently (say in the last 4-5 years or so), it's fairly unlikely that it will be able to run 7 without some significant upgrades.
