    Hi ,
No you don’t need any software
    Its simple ,Look :
Just before you close what you called the “new Powerpoint software: (2007 Office)
Click on the Microsoft logo on the upper left corner and then choose Save as 1997-2003 Document
this will save the file as ppt plot as a replacement for of pptx which is compatible with powerpoint 2003
    Thats it .

    1) Click the Office logo on the top left corner of the dialogue box.
    2) Roll your mouse over “Save as”
    3) Click “97-2003 PowerPoint”
    4) Your done! No extra software needed!

Also (just a tip), if the PowerPoint is huge, there is a program called “PPTminimizer” (you can Google it). You can you use it to shrink the file size of the PowerPoint by up to 98% with it has been saved! It’s useful if your putting a huge PowerPoint on a floppy or a flash drive with a lot of things in it. (Yes, you do have to download it, but it’s only 2,969 KB)
