    yes ? you can ~~
first download the youtube record you want with a free youtube downloader into you computer. As the youtube record appears to be flv record plot which is not surposed to be supported on ppt, so you will have to exchange youtube record to the formats supported on ppt, such as asf. wmv.,avi.wav.mpeg,etc with a flv converter. then you can embed the record into ppt,
you can download to use these two stuffs if you need:
    the free youtube downloader:http://www.soft82.com/download/windows/useesoft-free-youtube-downloader/
    the flv converter:http://www.soft82.com/download/windows/useesoft-flv-converter/

    Method A:(Play the PowerPoint offline)
1.to download Youtube record with the free software Leawo Free YouTube Download
(which can be found at http://leawo.com/youtube-download/ )
2.then exchange the Youtube record to avi plot with
    Leawo Free AVI Converter
(which can be found at http://leawo.com/record-converter/free-aviconverter.html )
3.insert the avi record into PowerPoint
Step 1: On the Insert tab, top to Movies and Sounds, and then click Movie from File.
Step 2: Click the record you want to use and then click OK.
Step 3: With you click OK, you’ are promoted with a message asking how you want the movie to start in the slide show. I recommend you choosing “Automatically “even if you want the movie to play when clicked. And that’s done.
    Tips:
    1. This is the simplest way to insert a record.
    2. Only record in formats of AVI, MPEG and WMV can be inserted in this way
    3. Permanently place the movie in the same folder as your PowerPoint presentation. If you later go the PowerPoint presentation to another computer, copy the movie too. Maintenance your movie in the same folder as your presentation ensures the link will still work. But, you should permanently test the movie on a new machine just to be certain. Re-insert the movie, if necessary.

    Method B:(Play the PowerPoint online)
You need four steps to make it:
Step 1: Get URL of the record
Step 2: Insert the ActiveX Control Shockwave Flash Object to your PowerPoint
Step 3: Add the the record link to your PowerPoint
Step 4: Fine tune the record in your PowerPoint file

To include a movie or record clip in a PowerPoint presentation, you simply click ‘Insert’, click on ‘movies and sounds’, then click ‘movie from file’.

Keep in mind that PowerPoint only recognizes MP3, AVI and few other file formats so if you cannot add a record because it is FLV or some other unrecognized media type, then you simply download a record plot converter, to exchange the file to a recognizable plot.
