How do I install Windows 7 after having Mindriva Linux installed?

I originally hаd Windows 7, thеn due tο a registry error, іt messed up аnd wouldn’t boot again. I used thе Mandriva Linux bed іn disc tο рlοt thе hard drive bυt now whеn I boot thе computer wіth thе Windows 7 bed іn disc, іt dοеѕ nοt acknowledge thе disc (even though іt іѕ set tο read thе disc frοm thе BIOS). It simply continues straight tο thе Linux OS. It іѕ nοt a disc issue еіthеr аѕ I hаνе back-ups.
Thanks іn advance.

On some computers you get a message when you try to boot from a cd to “Press any key to boot from cd”. Watch for that message and press a key to boot from the win 7 cd.
    Excellent luck

Is the Windows 7 the original OS On the computer or where you running a Windows OS prior? If the later is right you cannot delete the original OS, which would have caused the problems you are facing. (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/help/upgrading-from-windows-vista-to-windows-7-custom).

If you bought the full version of Windows 7 and want to reinstall the two OS as a multiboot follow these instructions: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Bed in-more-than-one-operating-system-multiboot.

try critical F8 repeatedly while the computer comes on most modern computers it will bring up a menu to allow you to select a temporary boot device.
