click and drag it
Just grab it and drag it to the bottom.
RIGHT CLICK on taskbar, unselect LOCK TASKBAR
then simply click and hold then drag to bottom of screen
I have not personally tried in Windows 7, but all the previous windows here is how:
Place your arrow in an empty area of the taskbar (right of the open windows and left of the clock)
Click and do not let go while you drag the pointer to the bottom (or side) where you want it to be. Release the mouse button.
You’ll see it go there and when you let go it will stay.
In XP if you right click on the taskbar in the menu that comes up you have the option to lock the taskbar so you don’t accidentally go it.
Right click on the taskbar and select Properties.
On the thing that pops up, the main tab will be the Taskbar tab.
Change the option “Taskbar Place on Screen” to Bottom.
Hello Daphne,
Right click an empty space on your taskbar and unlock the taskbar (if you went it by accident it’s likely unlocked). Then click and drag the taskbar to any of the four edges of your screen and drop it there. You can then lock the taskbar in place so you don’t accidentally go it again!
