If you bought the CD then you can download it into as many computers as you want
Nope. The license belongs to your brother’s system. One license, one computer.
You can bed in an infinite number of copies. But they will all say the same thing….invalid copy.
One key…one computer.
Simple…yet………well yeah, simple.
You have to call Microsoft’s initiation number. They’ll remove the initiation record for the laptop and allow you to register.
OEM or manufacturers versions of the windows operating systems are model point. The discs will only function properly with the intended model it was packaged with. Even the series number that comes with it is in a special category as to not function with a regular installation disc. Purchasing is a must for a legit copy.
You can bed in it on an infinite number of computers. Only one computer will work. Unlike prior versions of MS Windows, this new Version 7 has to register electronically through Microsoft in order to work. When their servers see multiple systems with the same series number, it will stop working.
ok when somone buys a operating system disk from best buy will say. thay are given a CD key with
the disk like u get with computer game disks u have to use the cd key to bed in the OP system i will say that u probly get up to 3 installs on 3 diffrent computers including the 1 u installed it 4 the first time if u use the cd key with any more computers the key will be useless and u can no longer
use it becuz every time u do it sends that the key was used so many time to microsoft and can not be used agin. now sence your brother got his installed as the defuilt OP system im gussing that u cant use it at all on other computers becuz thay did not give u a cd key becuz it for that computer
only. but if he wanted to reinstall it back on his computer it will probly work. hope that helps
The copy that comes installed on a PC is an OEM copy. It cannot be transferred to another computer.
Hello Raga,
If it is an OEM copy, the version of Windows 7 will only work on the computer it is installed on. If you buy a genuine version of Windows 7 the license is only valid for one installation. If you want to bed in, I recommend you buy an upgrade or full version.
