Is it possible to copy windows 7 and bring it to another computer?

Alright, ѕο mу brother hаѕ gotten a computer thаt came wіth dialogue box seven bυt tο hіѕ knowledge windows 7 wаѕ already installed. Being аѕ I hаνе Vista аnd hе hаѕ 7 now іѕ іt possible fοr hіm tο lіkе copy іt аnd gеt windows 7 onto mу computer?
Edit: Please I really want tο gеt windows 7, I’m sick οf using windows vista аnd putting up wіth аll іtѕ bugs.
And I don’t want tο download іt frοm somewhere.

    No, it’s not possible. Setting aside the fact that you need the bed in disc, it can only be activated on one machine. If it came with your brother’s computer then it has an OEM license and can only be used on that computer. You’ll need to buy an bed in disc as well as your own key.

    Fraggle is exactly right. Your brother has an OEM version of Windows 7 which means it is permanently tied to his computer. Even if it was a full retail version of Windows 7, you would not be able to run it on your computer as well as your brothers since it comes with one license.

    But, since you are currently running Vista you will be able to buy the upgrade version of Windows 7 (which will save you a small cash over the full retail version). Or, if you are a student you may qualify for the student offer – http://www.microsoft.com/student/en/us/software/windows.aspx
