Try making a new shortcut to Outlook and seeing if it
works the same way. Outlook is usually in a path similar to this:
    C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOffice12OUTLOOK.EXE
the ‘Office12′ part will vary depending on what version of office is
installed on your system. If in doubt, you can right-click on your current
small cut to it and choose [Properties] and examine the path that it has, and
    even the opening parameters.

Re-bed in MS-Excel before remove it.

    Try this:
Using Windows Explorer (right-click Start, Explore), find one of the Excel files you want to open, right-click it, click Open with> click Choose Default Program, select Excel, OK. From now, all the Excel files that you have in that same folder will open with Excel, not with Outlook.
